| Prices : | Start at $10 for Adults ages 13 and over Start at $5 for Children ages 3-12 Free two years old and under We currently only take Cash or Checks We have six routes to choose from that all take you through the countryside traveling on back roads where cars are scarce: 20 minute 2.3 mile ride 30 minute 3.5 mile ride 45 minute 4.5 mile ride that passes an Amish one room school house and goes through a field of Texas Longhorn cattle 1 hour ride that passes an Amish one room school house and gives you the choice of stopping at our friends house who is Amish and getting out of the carriage to tour their property or you can choose to stop at an Amish/Mennonite craft and bake store that is famous for their Shoofly pies. 1 hour 15 minute 5 mile ride that takes you to a different Amish farm where you can see how he makes furniture without electricity and taste some real Amish baking, or you can choose to stop at both places that are mentioned in the 1 hour ride or you can just take a longer ride, the choice is yours!!! For an extra special day we can take you on a two and a half hour ride through the countryside in a buggy making numerous stops or just taking a long buggy ride getting a personalized tour of the countryside and of the Amish way of life. This ride is by reservation only and costs $250 per group no larger then four. We have AAA discount available Keep in mind your buggy ride is private where just your family is the only family on the ride! |
